We are working with a real estate investment trust (REIT) that is a leading owner and operator of high-quality, open-air shopping centers. Headquartered in London, the client is a partner to more than 1,500 best-in-class national, regional and local tenants and is the largest landlord to substantial retail chains, led by proven real estate operators with deep industry expertise, retailer relationships and capital markets experience.

The Role

The Senior Analyst will underwrite potential acquisitions and dispositions, prepare investment memoranda to the Investment Committee and Board of Directors and provide transaction support throughout due diligence and closing

Your Profile

Perform complex financial analyses utilising Excel and Argus software, including cash flow projections and sensitivity analyses

Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and market data, including rent comparables and sales comparables

* Collect, review, and summarise property diligence reports, leases, legal documents, financial and operating information, property condition reports, and other due diligence materials. Prepare thorough investment packages for potential acquisitions and dispositions, effectively communicating investment recommendations and support for underwriting assumptions

Qualifications

University degree required preference in finance, real estate, business, accounting or economics

One to three years' experience in finance, accounting, real estate, investment banking or investment sales role

Demonstrated desire to be in real estate investments

Works well in a collaborative environment with an entrepreneurial feel

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Working knowledge of Argus Valuation DCF or Argus Enterprise

Demonstrated ability to review qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables and articulate complex concepts in a concise manner. (Writing samples will be requested during the hiring process)

Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills necessary to effectively interact with senior management, brokers and other outside parties
